Hello All, so I have decided to do a blog, rather than social media. It allows me to be more on my terms, and draw my audience into my world. As an artist we are always dealing with demons, and at the moment I have many. And this is on top of the normal fear of mediocrity, failure, and fear. I hope that I can keep up with these updates as I work on my musical (s). I will post songs I have been working on, demos, maybe photoshop stuff I do. Basically I am reclaiming my space as an artist, and if no one sees it, so be it. But this is for me, I am being a little selfish. So lets begin our journey with a song. This is a demo for my upcoming show "Retail: The Musical" which is a love letter to the mall. I worked in one for about 6 years. This song is called "Apathy," and it is horrible advice from a gay man to a girl who just wants a boy she likes to notice her. I am doing both parts, and the lyrics have since been altered, I just haven't had a chance yet to fix the Demo. I think its fun song, and I hope you like it. I will post more stuff in coming weeks. I am trying to re-ignite the fearless writer I used to be. Its odd how fearless we are when we're young, and how soon we become so fearful. Anyways here is the song.
