These three are my everything, and also the reason I have to go to a coffee chop daily to work. There is something about 3 cuddly Chihuahuas that screams "SLEEP." Two of them demand to be on my lap when I working at the console, and then they also demand an arm to rest their heads upon. Crouton (brown one) prefers the dog bed or the floor.
I replaced 3 of the old kind of blinds in my house today, I just got the ones in the office to do tomorrow. YAY! Home projects are always so gratifying. Little changes daily.
So here I am at the coffee shop, I got an idea for the next song in Sing While You're Winning and I jotted the first verse down musically into finale. Lyrics will come later but I like it. I am glad I am finding a creative outlet at this moment. It is so helpful and therapeutic.
As for the show that I am crazy enough to write book, music, and lyrics for (Retail) I have no clue where I am. I was jammed out of that world way back in September and I have to find my way back into the mall as it were. Aside from making demo's for the songs I had already written and adapting a song I wrote as a challenge in quarantine for the show, I am stuck at the end of ACT One. Like, I have one more song that needs to happen, and I know what needs to happen in that song to build to the end of Act One, but I can't hear it in my head. And the words are failing me. I may have to go back to my storyboard and make sure its what needs to happen, revisit the structure and make sure its the right journey (how very much like my life at the moment).
